We a few hours with the 2026 Lexus ES350e, the Electric one, with the desirable Executive Package ($3,635) gaining First Class heated, cooled, massaging, and reclining rear seats. With an as tested price of $63,770 ($60k minus the Executive pack), the Luxury trim ES, currently exclusive to the 350e or 500e, felt more elevated than the Premium+ 350h Hybrid we lived with. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

How was it?
The EV version of the ES shows off how quiet the new cabin is while driving, looking, and feeling remarkably the same as the Hybrid. The big change is the weight balance, with the battery pack mounted low under the interior, slightly shifting how it drives. We think it could have more power for the price, a bit better range, and improved charging speeds. The standout option was the Executive pack, exclusive to EV ES’s and its snazzy rear seats. The bamboo interior finishes, part of the Luxury trim, would be very welcome on the 350h in the future. The infotainment screen also adds a deviated EV menu, something we found our Lexus RZ tester lacking. If Lexus offered the 500e Luxury with the executive pack, currently only available on the 350e, that would be a preferred choice. But it appears due to chassis packaging, the executive pack may be exclusive to the 350e.
