The Ford Key requires a CR2032 Battery and can be changed DIY if you have a screwdriver. These instructions will work for most for Ford Vehicles with a similar shape ford keys.
How To Replace Ford Key Battery:
1) Open the key to expose the side of the Ford Key Fob
2) In the slot for the key there is an opening that a screwdriver can be placed in the middle of the key. Insert a screwdriver into the slot and pry to open the Ford Key Fob.
3) Remove the battery and replace with a CR2032 Battery
4) Reinstall the Key Fob cover.
