Here is a quick and simple little demonstration video on how to change out your dead / weak battery in your Chevy Traverse key fob. The process doesn’t require any tools. You only need a new 2032 coin cell battery. Remove the mechanical key but pressing the silver button on the side as I’ve shown. Once that is removed, use that to pry the two halves apart as well as removing the coin battery. Replace your dead battery with a fresh / fully charged once and clamp the two halves together.
