The Subaru Uncharted is the brand’s next fully electric offering, following the Solterra and Trailseeker, this time playing in the small SUV space as an alternative to the Crosstrek.
Priced at $59,990 before on-roads, it’s considerably more expensive than the Crosstrek but it also packs significantly more performance, producing a peak of 252kW from its AWD setup.
That’s enough to launch it from 0-100km/h in five seconds flat, and the Uncharted still offers a respectable range claim of 522km WLTP.
At this price point, it will compete against the likes of the Hyundai Elexio and larger Zeekr 7X, so does it have what it takes to come out on top? Editor at large Nathan Ponchard offers his thoughts in our first look at the Subaru Uncharted.
