I gassed up the bike did a cold start after a year and a half of it sitting, and took it out for a nice ride. I use ethanol free gas in it. The bike still runs great! It’s such a fun old bike to ride. I know I’ll be ridding it this summer a fair amount. With the ultra high gas cost, it will be cheap to ride, as it gets 100mpg! The bike is for sale….. $7000 cash.
I make a deal for both the XL’s, the 1976 XL175 I have owned since it was brand new, and has been road legal since it was new, being ridden ever year since new….. both bikes for $12,000.
I’m keeping the 1972 CB500 Four, as I love ridding it and ride it often.
